Project Description

Don’t make the mistake of simply calling it olive paté and above all confusing it with any industrial product: tapenade is a traditional recipe, versatile and very easy to make at home, but with a very high satisfaction rate.

The origin is Provençal, as indeed the name that derives from the Occitan denomination of one of its ingredients, but curiously not of the main one. Tapena are in fact called capers, which together with anchovies and garlic are a side dish for olives, the great protagonists of this sauce destined for a love match with bread.
